Grok Imagine 1.5 is xAI's newer Grok Imagine, priced at $0.20 per second. It runs as text to video and image to video, with sound, at 480p, 720p and 1080p and in a wide choice of shapes, 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 3:2 and 2:3.
The rate per second rises with resolution: $1.20 for a default clip at 480p against $2.10 at the default resolution. A typical generation takes about 2 min.
Good for
- Grok clips with sound at 1080p, which the first Grok Imagine does not offer
- Any length up to 15 seconds, set to the second
Getting good results
- Cost scales linearly with length, as the provider puts it: $2.10 for the default clip, $5.25 for 15 seconds.
